POCT Equipment

POCT, or point-of-care testing, refers to a clinical test (bedsidetesting) performed next to a patient, usually not necessarily performed by a clinical examiner. It is a new method to analyze immediately at the sampling site, eliminating the complex processing procedures of specimens in laboratory tests, and quickly obtaining test results. The detection principle is based on fluorescence, chemiluminescence, Raman, absorbance measurement and other measurement methods. Testing items include coagulation testing, blood glucose testing, infectious diseases, heart disease markers, cancer markers immunodetection, biological threat detection, etc.
