Shenyang Instrumentation Institute Huibo Optical Filters have passed RoHS certification.
Recently, Huibo Optical Company, affiliated with Shenyang Instrument Research Institute, commissioned SGS (Standard Technical Service Co., Ltd.) to conduct RoHS six tests on biochemical filters, neutral density filters, heat-insulating filters, and mirror products. The test results for cadmium, lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, and polybrominated diphenyl ethers in the samples sent all comply with the restriction requirements of the EU RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC, as amended by Directive 2011/65/EU Appendix II. RoHS is a mandatory standard established by EU legislation, and its full name is "Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment" (Restriction of Hazardous Substances). It is mainly used to regulate the material and process standards of electronic and electrical products. The purpose of this standard is to eliminate six substances in electrical and electronic products: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, and polybrominated diphenyl ethers, making them more beneficial to human health and environmental protection. Now, the filter and mirror products of Shenyang Instrument Research Institute have passed RoHS certification, eliminating potential barriers to entering the European market. Starting from July 15, all shipping product packaging boxes from the optical company's filter division will have RoHS labels affixed, further standardizing and internationalizing product packaging. Hui Bo Optics participated in the 3rd International Conference on Advanced Optical Films.
FOC is the highest level international conference on optical thin films held in Asia. Since 2009, it has been held every three years, aiming to bring together scholars, research technicians, and industry professionals from around the world to promote academic exchanges between domestic and international optical thin film research institutions and the industry, discussing the latest developments and cutting-edge applications in the field of optical thin films. It is hosted by the National Natural Science Foundation, the Chinese Optical Society, and the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, organized by Tongji University and Zhejiang University, and co-organized by the 8358 Research Institute of the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation and the Chengdu Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The discussion topics include: optical thin film design, optical substrates and optical thin film materials, thin film preparation technology, optical thin film properties and characterization, and cutting-edge applications of optical thin films.

HuiBo Optics participated in the 2nd International Conference on Advanced Optical Films.
HuiBo Optics was invited to participate in the Frontiers of Optical Coatings (FOC2012) international conference on optical films held from October 15 to 18, 2012, at the Wijing International Hotel in Hangzhou. This conference was jointly organized by the State Key Laboratory of Modern Optical Instruments at Zhejiang University and the Optical Film Special Committee of the Chinese Optical Society, with co-sponsorship from Tongji University, the Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology, and the Zhejiang Natural Science Foundation. FOC2012 is the highest-level optical film seminar held in China and is one of the largest and highest-level academic conferences in this field internationally. Professor Liu Xu, the director of the School of Information at Zhejiang University, served as the chairman of the conference and delivered the opening and closing speeches. The conference gathered almost all academic leaders or key researchers from international institutions engaged in optical film research, with over 200 representatives from more than 10 countries in Europe, North America, and Asia (about 60 from abroad) attending the meeting. The conference lasted for three days and received 117 submitted papers, including 24 invited reports, 62 oral presentations, and 31 poster presentations. HuiBo Optics also submitted a paper on film coating. The topics covered in the reports included film system design, thin film materials, deposition techniques, monitoring, testing and characterization, film stress and mechanical properties, laser damage-resistant films, short-wavelength optical films, nanoscale coatings, one-dimensional photonic crystals, and applications, encompassing the entire research scope of optical films. The conference concluded successfully.

China Optical Society 2011 Academic Conference
The 2011 Academic Conference of the Chinese Optical Society was held from September 5 to 8, 2011, concurrently with the 13th China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE2011) at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. Huibo Optics participated in the exhibition and was invited to attend the conference discussions, engaging in conversations with scholars and experts from various fields about the future development trends of optics in China. This conference was hosted by the Chinese Optical Society, co-organized by the China International Optoelectronic Exposition, Shenzhen University, and the Shenzhen Optical Society, with the China International Optoelectronic Summit Forum (CIOEC) as a co-organizer. Nine professional journals in the field of optics, including "Journal of Optics", "Chinese Laser", and "Chinese Optoelectronics", participated in reporting the grand event throughout the conference. The conference focused on academic discussions and exchanges on 18 topics, including the research progress and applications of optical materials, advancements in precision optical testing technology, new developments in optical film technology, nonlinear optics and mesoscopic optics, laser physics technology and applications, infrared and optoelectronic devices, optoelectronic technology and systems, applications of advanced laser technology, biomedical photonics, fiber optics and integrated optics, holography and optical information processing, color science and imaging technology, engineering optics and optical design and manufacturing, environmental optical technology and applications, space optics and optical remote sensing applications, research on optical and optical engineering education, as well as the academic annual meeting of the Hunan Optical Society and Joint OSA-COSEducational Courses.

The First International Conference on Advanced Optical Films
HuiBo Optics participated in the first Frontiers of Optical Coatings International Conference (FOC 2009) held in 2009. The conference was jointly organized by Tongji University, the Chinese Optical Society, Zhejiang University, Xi'an University of Technology, the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering in Germany, and the Fresnel Institute in France. This was the first international seminar on optical coatings held in China and is one of the largest and highest-level academic seminars in the field of optical coatings worldwide. The conference gathered almost all academic leaders or key researchers from international institutions engaged in optical coatings research. The experts attending this conference included internationally recognized pioneering scholars in the field of optical coatings, as well as top domestic and foreign experts currently working on the front lines of optical coatings research. The conference featured a total of 6 keynote speeches, 22 invited talks, 55 oral presentations, and 27 poster presentations, with HuiBo Optics also presenting on film coating. The research scope covered optical coating materials, design, preparation processes, characterization, and applications, encompassing the entire research spectrum of optical coatings.
