Anellipsoidalmirrorisagyroformedafterapartofanellipselinerotatesaroundthecentralaxis.ThelightsourceisplacedatthefirstfocalpointF1oftheellipsoidalreflector,andafterthelightisreflectedbythereflector,itconvergesatthesecondfocalpointF2oftheellipsoidalreflector.Themainfunctionoftheellipsoidalreflectoristoimprovetheefficiencyoflightsourceutilization.Theellipsoidalmirrorsubstrateismadeofborosilicateglass,andthesurfacecanbecoatedwithcoolinglightfilm,ultravioletreflectivefilm,protectivealuminumandotherthinfilms.HuiboOpticsprovidesellipsoidalmirrorswithvariousfocallengthsrangingfrom50to600mm.
Cone mirror
