Huibo Optics (Shenyang Instrument Science Research Institute Co., Ltd.) is affiliated to Shenyang Instrument Science Research Institute Co., Ltd. It is a national scientific research institute founded in 1961, which belongs to China National Machinery Industry Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SINOMACH group"). Founded in January 1997, SINOMACH group is an important state-owned backbone enterprise directly managed by the central government and one of the world's top 500 enterprises. Huibo Optics, formerly known as the optical thin film technology base of the former Shenyang Institute of Instrumentation and Technology (Shenyang Institute of Technology) of the Ministry of Machinery, has been engaged in optical thin film technology research for more than 50 years, has undertaken more than 30 national scientific research projects over the years, formulated a number of national standards and industry standards, and trained a number of capable optical thin film professional and technical personnel, laying a solid foundation for the technological innovation and development of enterprises. After more than 50 years of construction and development, it has become the main R & D and production base of interference filters and optical mirrors in China.

Huibo Optics specializes in optical coating technology research and optical thin film product development and production. In the interference filter and optical mirror design and manufacturing technology has deep experience. Has developed more than a dozen series, more than 1000 specifications of the filter and mirror products, products through the ISO9001-2008 quality management system certification. Among them, the main products such as ultraviolet-visible-near-infrared narrow-band interference filter, biochemical filter, fluorescence optical filter, gradient density filter, spherical and aspheric mirror occupy a large share of the domestic market, and the products are exported to more than 40 countries and regions such as the United States, Germany, Japan, France, Italy, India, Israel, Brazil and Southeast Asia.

Huibo Optics has two professional ultra-purified optical coating production lines, precision interference filter and precision optical reflector. There are more than 20 optical coating machines of various types, modern optical testing laboratories, and many large precision optical testing instruments including PE Lambda900, Varian Cary300, Cary6000i and Cary7000, which can detect spectral characteristics from far ultraviolet (as short as 200nm) to medium infrared (as long as 50μm). In addition, the national instrument components product quality supervision and inspection center is attached to the Institute, which provides strong technical support and guarantee for the detection of product physical and environmental characteristics.
