Hui Bo Optics (Shenyang Institute of Instrumentation Science Co., Ltd.) is affiliated with Shenyang Institute of Instrumentation Science Co., Ltd. It is a national-level research institute established in 1961, under the China National Machinery Industry Corporation (referred to as "Sinomach"), which was founded in January 1997 and is an important state-owned backbone enterprise directly managed by the central government, ranked among the Fortune Global 500 companies. Hui Bo Optics originated from the optical film technology base of the former Ministry of Machinery's Shenyang Institute of Instrumentation (Shengong Institute), engaging in optical film technology research for over fifty years. Over the years, it has undertaken more than thirty national scientific research projects, formulated several national and industry standards, and trained a group of skilled optical film professionals, laying a solid foundation for the technological innovation and development of enterprises. After more than fifty years of construction and development, it has now become the main research and development production base for interference filters and optical mirrors in China.
Hui Bo Optics specializes in the research of optical coating process technology and the development and production of optical film products. It has a deep accumulation of experience in the design and manufacturing technology of interference filters and optical mirrors. It has developed more than a dozen series and over 1,000 specifications and models of filters and mirror products, which have passed the ISO9001-2008 quality management system certification. Among them, the main products such as ultraviolet-visible-near-infrared narrowband interference filters, biochemical filters, fluorescence optical filters, gradient density filters, spherical and aspherical mirrors occupy a large share of the domestic market, and products are exported to more than forty countries and regions including the United States, Germany, Japan, France, Italy, India, Israel, Brazil, and Southeast Asia.
Hui Bo Optics has established two specialized ultra-clean optical coating production lines for precision interference filters and precision optical mirrors, with over twenty various optical coating machines. It features a modern optical testing laboratory equipped with several large precision optical testing instruments, including PE Lambda900, Varian Cary300, Cary6000i, and Cary7000, capable of detecting spectral characteristics from far ultraviolet (as short as 200nm) to mid-infrared (as long as 50μm). Additionally, the National Instrumentation and Component Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center is affiliated with this institute, providing robust technical support and assurance for the detection of product physical and environmental characteristics.
